Tour Plan

Day 1 : Arrive in Marrakech - Transfer you to the Riad & Visit the stunning attractions of Marrakech with local guide.

Upon your arrival at Menara airport in Marrakech, the Visitar Morocco driver/guide will be there to pick you up and transfer you to the Riad/Hotel in Marrakech Medina. Depending on the time of your flight, if you arrive in the morning, you will have the opportunity to take a guided tour of the city in the afternoon. During the tour, you will visit the highlights of Marrakech's medina with the help of an official local guide.

The guided tour of the Marrakech medina will take you to discover the famous Koutoubia Mosque, the bustling medina, and its vibrant souks. The tour will also give you a chance to delve into the secrets of Marrakesh and explore historic sites such as the Ali Ben Youssef Koranic school, the Saadian tombs, the Bahia Palace, and the beautiful Majorelle Gardens.

At the end of the day, you will spend the night in Marrakech and get ready for the next leg of your journey.

Day 2 : Marrakech - Atlas - Ait Ben Haddou - Ouarzazate - Skoura & Roses Valley - Dades Gorges.

On the first day of our 7-day Marrakech to Chefchaouen Sahara desert tour, we embark on a journey to Dades Gorges. Our journey takes us through the High Atlas Mountains, where we will marvel at the stunning Berber villages nestled in the breathtaking landscape.

We then continue on to Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site, which has been the backdrop for several famous Hollywood movies such as "Lawrence of Arabia," "Gladiator," "Kingdom of Heaven," and "Prince of Persia." This exotic fortress showcases the rich Moroccan architecture and culture. After exploring the kasbah, we make our way to Ouarzazate for lunch (optional). Next, we visit the Skoura Oasis, famous for its Kasbah of Amridil.

Our 7-day Morocco desert trip continues on the road of thousand kasbahs, where we pass through the Dades valley, dotted with oasis and historic fortifications. We make a stop in Kalaat M'gouna, known for its annual Roses Festival, before reaching Dades valley for the night. Here, we stay overnight at a Riad and enjoy dinner and breakfast.

Day 3 : Dades Valley - Todra Gorges & its Valleys - Rissani - Merzouga desert (Camel trek & Overnight in desert camp).

On the third day of our 7-day Morocco itinerary from Marrakech, we will start with a traditional and delicious breakfast while taking in the stunning views of the Dades valley. Next, we will embark on a drive through roads lined with historic kasbahs and charming Berber villages in the Dades Canyon. You will have the opportunity to admire the stunning scenery and the remaining fortified villages that once hosted caravan routes until the early 20th century.

We will then head to Todra, where we will be surrounded by 15 km of breathtaking palm tree-lined valleys and towering walls of grey and pink rock in the Todra gorges. You will have the chance to take a walking tour and marvel at the stunning scenery.

Afterwards, we will continue our road trip to Merzouga and the majestic Erg Chebbi dunes. From here, you will embark on a 1 hour and 30 minute camel ride to reach your authentic Sahara desert camp. During the ride, you will have a break in the middle of the dunes to watch the sunset and engage in sandboarding if you so choose. You will have the chance to take photos and enjoy the scenery.

Once the sun goes down, the camel tour will continue to the camp, where you will be greeted with a glass of mint tea. At the camp, you will be entertained with Berber music and a campfire, while admiring the starry sky. You will have dinner and spend the night in a nomadic desert camp, surrounded by the beautiful Merzouga sand dunes.

Day 4 : Merzouga desert - Ziz Valley - Midelt - Azrou & Ifrane - Fez.

On the fourth day of the 7-day Marrakech to Casablanca via Imperial cities, desert tour, and Chefchaouen, you will be awakened early to witness the stunning sunrise over the sand dunes of Merzouga. After a delicious breakfast at the desert camp, you will have the option to return to the meeting location in Merzouga village on either a camel or 4WD jeep safari, depending on your preference.

Our journey to Fes city begins, passing through Errachidia city. We will make a stop to admire the panoramic view of the Ziz valley. Our 7-day Morocco trip continues to Midelt, where we will have lunch. Afterward, we will drive to Azrou to see the Barbary macaque and the grand cedar forest. Our next destination is Ifrane, where we will make a short visit to the city. Finally, we will arrive in Fez city and stay overnight at a Riad in the medina.

Fes is considered the cultural and spiritual center of Morocco and is known as Fes el Bali. The city was founded in the 9th century and is home to the world’s oldest university. During its prime in the 13th to 14th centuries under the Merinids, Fes was the capital of the kingdom and the center of its economic and cultural growth. Although the political capital was later transferred to Rabat in 1912, Fes has maintained its status as the country's artisan hub.

The city's medina is surrounded by original ramparts and is home to approximately 9000 narrow passageways and bustling streets. The artisan workshops in the medina continue to thrive and contribute to the city's industrial economy. Trades such as blacksmithing, leatherworking, ceramics, silk, tapestries, and sculpting are still practiced in these workshops today.

On the Fes guided day tour, you will visit several key attractions, including the Jewish Mellah, a Jewish Synagogue, the Tannery, the Dyers souk of silk, wool, and cotton, the Pottery & Zellij Tile Cooperative, the University of Kairouine, the Fes Royal Palace, the Blue Gate of Fes, the Weavers Cooperative, and a panoramic view of Fes el Bali.

Day 7 : Chefchaouen - Rabat – Casablanca:

After having breakfast in the morning, our journey will commence with a drive from Chefchaouen to either Casablanca or Marrakech. The choice of ending point will be yours, regardless of your flight departure from the airport. During our journey, we will stop at the highlights of Rabat city, including the Mohamed 5 Mosuleum, the Hassan II tower, and the Oudaya Kasbah. We will also visit the impressive Mosque of Hassan II.
